The Clinical Need

Klinefelter syndrome (47,XXY) is often recognized only after clinical, developmental, fertility, metabolic, or quality-of-life concerns have emerged.

Why recognition can be difficult

Presentation varies widely. Individual features may be subtle or nonspecific, and relevant signals can appear across different specialties and stages of life. No single feature defines every person with XXY.

Why earlier recognition matters

Earlier recognition may support more timely evaluation, informed follow-up, and coordinated care. GentileX is exploring whether existing clinical signals can be organized into a transparent framework that helps professionals recognize when further review or referral may be appropriate.

This work is exploratory and is not a diagnostic tool. Any future clinical use would require independent validation, governance, and professional oversight.
